Peña Planetarium presents popular holiday show
A Christmas Story will be featured December 9
A Christmas Story is one of the Peña Planetarium's family favorites. During the story, a father lovingly explains the origins and importance of some of our holiday season traditions to his young daughter. After dinner, the family embarks on a trip to their city's planetarium for a brief introduction to the winter sky and some possible explanations for the Star of Wonder.
The Planetarium is located in the Educational Enrichment Center on the southwest corner of West Main Street and Woodland Drive in Visalia. Tickets can be purchased at the Impact Center Office 30 minutes before show time or in advance on weekdays between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. Tickets are $4 for adults and $3 for children under 12. No late seating is offered once the planetarium doors close. For information, call (559) 737-6334.
