La Sierra introduces Independent Study Program for fall
This fall, the La Sierra Independent Study Program will offer a unique work/study program in partnership with the SEE Youth Program. Employment-age students will have the opportunity to customize their high school experience through classroom and online studies while working in positions obtained through the SEE Youth Program. This will give students the opportunity to earn some income while they complete their high school diploma. The program will include a teen-parenting component, a GED option and career readiness training. La Sierra is a Western Association of Schools & Colleges (WASC) accredited school operated by the Tulare County Office of Education since 2000.
