Planetarium & Science Center staff welcomes the public to enjoy family summer evening shows on Friday, June 22. Guests may attend Dawn of the Space Age at 6:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m.


Dawn of the Space Age
View this historically accurate reconstruction of man's first steps into space beginning with the launch of Sputnik and ending with the new private space exploration. This program teaches science as well as history providing a greatly enhanced immersive planetarium experience.


The Planetarium & Science Center is located at 11535 Avenue 264 in Visalia, on the southwest corner of Mooney Boulevard and Avenue 264. Tickets are available at the Planetarium office only after 9:00 a.m. on the day of the show. Tickets are $4 for adults and $3 for children 11 and under. Children must be accompanied by an adult. No late seating is offered once the planetarium doors close.
