TCOE programs prepare for "Class of 2019" graduations
Dozens of students from Tulare County Office of Education programs are preparing for graduation in the coming weeks. "We look forward to celebrating with students and families this important milestone," says Tulare County Superintendent of Schools Tim Hire. "This is also a time to celebrate the teachers, staff and administrators at our schools and our Special Services programs who helped prepare students for success as adults."
In addition to seniors at La Sierra Military Academy, University Preparatory High School, and Court/Community Schools, students in Special Services programs, including those in the Community Based Instruction (CBI) classes, will graduate. For the past five years, these 21-year-old students have been gaining skills that will help them prepare for adult life, including - for some - vocational skills that will be useful in finding employment.
