Show Synopsis:
Based on the DreamWorks Animation hit, How to Train Your Dragon JR. brings fire-breathing action, epic adventure, and big laughs to the stage.
Hiccup is a young Viking who defies tradition and befriends one of his deadliest foes – a ferocious dragon he calls Toothless. Together, the unlikely heroes fight against the odds to save both their worlds in this wonderful theatrical adaptation.

Auditions for the 2026 Fall Production of How to Train Your Dragon JR.
- Open to Tulare County* students in 1st-12th grade for the 2026-27 school year.
*Students must live in or attend school in Tulare County. - Vocal, acting, and dance auditions take place the week of August 10, 2026.
- Callbacks are on Saturday, August 11, by invitation only.
- Rehearsals begin the week of August 24.
- Rehearsals primarily take place in groups Tuesday-Friday from 4:30-7:30 p.m.
- All auditions and classroom rehearsals take place at the Planetarium and Science Center: 11535 Ave. 264 in Visalia.
- The show performs the week of November 16, 2026.
