Today's classified staff shoulder far more responsibilities than their titles suggest. In fact, many support staff professionals have taken on more duties and need the skills and knowledge traditionally thought of as management tools. At the Central Valley's premier conference for classified staff, we cultivate community, inspire growth, and empower leadership development. In celebration of those who support school districts and municipalities throughout the Valley, we have a wonderful program planned this year. The conference includes a delicious breakfast, motivational keynote speaker, fantastic vendors, breakout sessions designed to support personal and professional development, and the opportunity to network with support staff from throughout the Valley!

Conference attendees may register for one day, either April 28 or April 29. Registration opens March 25 and closes April 16. Please return to this site on March 25 to register.

Keynote Speaker

Jeff Utecht is an educational and leadership consultant who has spent more than 15 years working with school districts, county offices of education, and state departments across the United States and internationally. A former classroom teacher and district leader, Jeff understands the realities of public education — from the pressures facing administrators to the essential role classified staff play in keeping schools running every day.

Jeff is known for his clear, practical approach to leadership and change. He speaks honestly about what is working, what is not, and what schools need to do next — without dismissing the traditions and practices that have shaped education for generations. His work focuses on generational leadership, communication, and the impact of emerging technologies on schools and organizations.

Jeff has worked with hundreds of school districts and educational organizations, supporting leaders and staff in building stronger teams, navigating change, and preparing for the future of education. He brings a deep respect for the work educators do, combined with a forward-thinking mindset focused on helping schools thrive in a rapidly changing world.
