About ERS Library
The ERS Library is a division of the Tulare County Office of Education’s Educational Resource Services (ERS) Department. Operating under the administration of Samantha Tate and managed by Valarie Seita, Library Media Coordinator and Librarian of Record, the ERS Library supports contracting K–12 districts, schools, educators, and homeschooling families throughout Tulare and Kings counties.
The ERS Library provides access to a circulating collection of more than 28,000 instructional resources available for checkout, with delivery and pick up services offered to contracting sites. Digital resources are available through three online portals, each featuring premium reading, research, and media platforms. The Educator Portal serves administrators, teachers, and homeschooling parents, while the Kids Portal for grades K–8 and the Teen Portal for grades 9–12 provide grade appropriate access for students.
The ERS Library’s Teacher Resource Center (TRC) serves contracting sites, with access also available to the general public. Most equipment is self-service. ERS Library staff provide limited poster production services. Fees apply for materials used, with discounted rates available for contracting entities and their staff.
