The California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office invites eligible Local Education Agencies (LEAs), community college partners, and stakeholders to participate in the K12 Strong Workforce Program (K12 SWP) Round 9 Bidder's Conference. This informational webinar will provide prospective applicants with an overview of the Round 9 Request for Application (RFA), eligibility requirements, application expectations, funding guidelines, and resources available to support successful application development.

Funding Opportunity
The K12 Strong Workforce Program Round 9 will provide $150 million in statewide funding to support high-quality Career Technical Education (CTE) pathways and programs that align with regional workforce needs, strengthen career readiness, and improve student outcomes across California.
Eligible Applicants
Eligible applicants include:
- School Districts
- County Offices of Education
- Charter Schools
- Regional Occupational Centers and Programs (ROC/Ps)
Applicants must partner with at least one California Community College or Community College District as part of their proposal.
Bidder's Conference Overview
During the session, attendees will receive a comprehensive overview of the K12 Strong Workforce Program Round 9 funding opportunity, including:
- Funding priorities, eligibility requirements, and program expectations.
- Application requirements, scoring criteria, and positive consideration factors.
- Budget development, matching fund requirements, and allowable expenditures.
- Required assurances, supporting documentation, and compliance expectations.
- NOVA application submission procedures, timelines, and reporting responsibilities.
- Available resources, templates, technical assistance, and applicant support tools.
