Snippet of The Migrant Voice

Students from the Migrant Education Region VIII Journalism Project produced two new editions of The Migrant Voice just in time for summer reading!

Young writers from Heritage Elementary School (Tulare), Kennedy Elementary School (Dinuba), and Jefferson Elementary School (Dinuba) wrote about the World Ag Expo and the many vendors they saw. To view the student’s newspaper, click here.

From Hanford’s Jefferson Academy and Woodrow Wilson Jr. High School, journalists interviewed the superintendents of Hanford Elementary School District (HESD) and Armona Union Elementary School District, school board members from HESD, the men’s and women’s water polo coach from Penn State Behrend, a water polo player from Hanford West High School, and a Maná concertgoer.
