The TRRE Project prepares, supports, and retains highly effective teachers for rural, high-need schools by recruiting committed residents and mentor teachers through strong institutional and district partnerships.

What is the TRRE Project?
The Teacher Residency for Rural Education (TRRE) Project is a one-year program for graduate students seeking to obtain a single-subject credential with a focus in STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) and English.
Benefits
Receive support for prioritized employment with a partnering district
Qualify for a living stipend during residency year (up to $26,000)
Gain extensive professional development that prepares residents for their teaching career
Build professional and personal relationships with other educators and residents
Obtain a single-subject teaching credential from California State Polytechnic University, Humboldt
