Teacher Residency for Rural Education (TRRE)
The California Center on Teaching Careers, housed at Tulare County Office of Education, offers the Teacher Residency for Rural Education (TRRE) Project in partnership with California State Polytechnic University, Humboldt (Humboldt), California State University, Fresno (CSUF), CalStateTEACH, University of California, Merced (UC Merced), and local school districts in Tulare and Kings County.The TRRE Project is for graduate students seeking to obtain a single-subject credential with a focus in STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics), and English, or a dual credential in special education (mild/mod, and extensive support needs), a multiple-subject credential (K-8), or a multiple-subject credential (TK-3) and earn a master’s degree in education from partner universities.
