Purpose
The New Teacher & Leadership Development (NTLD) unit is approved and accredited by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing and offers a range of programs which provide credential pathways for aspiring teachers and administrators. NTLD credentials hold the same value and integrity as credentials earned via a university-based program and are valid anywhere in California. Each program is designed to develop talented, dedicated, and eager educators who are trained to expand equity and access for all students.
Vision
Teachers and administrators prepared through NTLD are dedicated and well-equipped to support California’s diverse learner population.
