Visual, Performing, and Media Arts
The Tulare County Office of Education supports school districts in designing and implementing high-quality, standards-based arts education, which integrates with the California Arts Education Framework and programming in dance, media arts, music, theatre, and visual arts. Customizable support includes professional learning, instructional coaching, strategic planning, and community partnership development.
Professional learning services and content coaching are available for multiple visual, performing, and media arts needs, and may include, but are not limited to:
- Professional learning of California Arts Standards, framework, and instructional materials
- Arts and social and emotional learning (SEL) integration
- Literacy through the arts
- Networking and shared learning through the arts
- Arts education strategic plan development facilitation and coaching
- Support and technical assistance for Proposition 28 and other arts funding streams
- Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) for academic needs
- Improvement science coaching designed to maximize student achievement and decrease learning gaps
